KAISER (aka Comos)

I just wanted to thank you very much, not only for Kaiser (aka Comos) but for your love of the breed.  This is one great puppy!!!  Everyone in the family loves him.  The cat is not so sure about it yet, but is already beginning to come around...LOL.  Kaiser is adjusting very nicely.  His stomach has settled.  He is doing great already with training.  He has been very calm (except in the crate, although he gets better every time).  Although you can tell he is getting comfortable now, as the happy crazy puppy times are starting.  They only happen once or twice a day, and only for about five minutes.  It's like riding a bike, you remember how to deal with it right away.  I will send you some pictures of him getting settled in as soon as I download them from the camera.  As I type, he is laying right beside me.

Update 3/11/09

We love Kaiser, he is an amazing part of the family.  We did add another shepherd to our family.  Her name is Kyra.  I call her my rescue, as I saw her in the local let store and could not stand to see a Shepherd there.

Kyra and Kaiser are best buds.  Where Kaiser is very intense, Kyra is laid back.  It is awesome to watch them together.  They balance each other pefectly.  Right down to their protection.

Kyra, Sue, and Kaiser A little playtime in the field, after training of course!

Bee Be (aka - Chione)

Wanted to report on Bee Be's visit to the vet yesterday. She did SO, SO well. Dr. Weiner was beside himself. He had us there for a whole hour talking about Bee Be. He is so impressed with your work, you have no idea.
We had some very in depth discussions about nutrition, immunizations, exercise and training. I gave him the sheet you had prepared with what Bee Be had already received. He said he had never seen anything like it. He will be doing more research on the food we are using. He admitted never hearing of it but is now curious about the product. Dr. Weiner could not believe how Bee Be was not at all startled. She didn't even fuss the least bit while he
examined her. You would have been very proud, as we were. I've got more pictures to send and will do so tomorrow.
Just wanted to share that this morning Tony and I were busy going through our attic.  - some time apparently went by and we looked at each other and said, "Where's Bee Be?'  Not a sound - so we started looking around.  Do you know where she was?  She was napping in her crate!!   I mean, she spends the night sleeping in her crate but has not yet looked for it to take a nap in.  I got so excited, I woke her up.  Not very bright on my part but I just found that amazing!  She also thoroughly enjoys the ability to lounge on the deck.  We have sliders off the dining room which in this gorgeous weather we keep open.

She even brings toys out there to amuse herself with.  This morning, she and I were out for her early morning walk and every day when we do this, I pick up the paper on the driveway.  Today, she got to it first and dragged it in her teeth until she couldn't hold on any more.  Then she looked at me as if to say, "I've done about all I can for my size.  Please take over!"  I say it to anyone who comments on her behavior, stability and amazing personality, you did an unbelievable job!   Thanks again.

I know it is difficult to let these gorgeous puppies go but I have to tell you again what a great job you have done.  Bee Be met the rest of the family last night and enjoyed every second of it.  She played with some of her toys much to the entertainment of my grandsons.  She licked every single person’s face and serenaded us with her vocal abilities.  But through it all, she was so, so calm.  Absolutely nothing startles her.  This morning I was sure the blow dryer would upset her, but she just lay there, watching with that little tilt to her head.  She ate heartily this morning.  From the time she got out of the car yesterday, she has not had one accident.  She has already picked a favorite spot to do her business and heads right for it once you get outside.  Abby, our 7 year old cat, and Bee Be have agreed to watch each other from a distance.  Last night Bee Be knew Abby was under our bed, so she just sat about a foot from the end of the bed and kept her eyes fixed on the cat.  Neither one moved.  Then finally the dog got tired and moved on to something else.  At this point the cat came out and jumped on the bed – Abby always takes the higher ground!

Bee Be and family - Christmas 2006
Update  -

I had a chance to visit with Bee Be and her family during Christmas of 2006 at which time she is 6 months old and thriving with her family.

She is the apple of their eye and the center of their universe.

She is the most well-adjusted puppy and greeted me with lots of puppy kisses.

She has completed basic obedience class and seems to love to constantly entertain this family.

Bee Be - 1 year old.  Bee Be continues to thrill her family with a wonderful personality, obedient nature and extraordinary feats which are too numerous to list.

She is a very happy dog, living in a wonderful home with humans that can truly appreciate her.

Happy Birthday, Bee Be.

October 11, 2007 - Bee Be update
.... Bee Be is just wonderful. She is beautiful. Her markings are truly "remarkable." I tell Debbie every day how terrific Bee Be is. I think she may get tired of hearing me. She has developed one interesting habit - every time she steps outside the house, she has to run to one of the cars. Bee Be knows that if she goes in the car, 99% of the time she will be visiting our grandsons. Nothing beats running around an acre of property being chased or chasing by two little boys and playing ball until all three fall down exhausted! We just don't hold the same excitement, I guess! She is a people dog, that's for sure.

But what amazes us so much is how solid she is. We have yet to see her jump or flinch or react to a loud, unexpected noise. She may pick her head up and turn in the general direction it is coming from, but she
certainly shows no fear. And as much as she may play with our cat, if Abby walks over to Bee Be's food dish when Bee Be is eating, Bee Be moves aside and lets the cat put her head in. As I've said before, just
amazing.

 Luci  (aka Chronos)

I just wanted to thank you very much for Lucy (Chronosl).

She is doing great with our family and has adjusted to the crate on the second night after we made it bigger for her.
She is getting along with everyone in the family and everyone is just so happy to have her with us.

I can’t thank you enough for what a wonderful puppy and great job you did on this girl and for bringing her into our house.

We will be starting training soon and look forward to seeing you and Beth.

You are always welcome to come down and see her and our family any time and thank you again.

Luci Update - Christmas 2006

We visited Lucy and her family this Christmas 2006. She greeted us at the door and is full of zest! She has developed very nicely, showing a nice gate, movement, and strong bone structure for a female.
Her energy level is off the wall and she is keeping her family on their toes.

She loves going for training weekly and the family is very committed to keeping up her education.

She is a tough girl and is very happy in her new home.

                                                                        Luci - May 2007

2009 Vet Visit:

Lucy went for two shots and a checkup. The Dr.

remembers her as a puppy  and other stages; he was

very impressed with her now. She is 93 pounds and in great shape. Julie

said Lucy was great when they cleaned her ears!

Brutis (aka Caecius)

I wanted to let you know that Brutis is doing just great in his new home.  After the second day, he knows exactly where to go to the bathroom…it’s amazing and we go for a long walk out the back door and down the steps (I still carry him down the steps) but then he runs all the way to the back yard to “his” spot and does his business….it’s so great and he is just such a great boy.  We are going to Petco tomorrow to pick out some new toys, as he likes the ball the best.  On the way home from your house after picking him up, he was terrific in the car, until about ½ way home, then he cried a little.  I stopped at my sisters house to show him off, and right away went on the lawn and peed, he had to go!!!!!  Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful puppy.  You’ve made our home complete and we will stay in touch.  Love, Pat.

Brutis Update - Christmas 2006

Brutis and owner have been doing some intense training over the past few weeks with a great trainer and are coming along.

He is a softer puppy from this litter and is bonded with his owner.

They are doing very active in socialization and imprinting and getting through puppyhood at this point.

Brutis enjoys watching the deer in the yard, playing with his squeeky toys, and going for car rides with his owner.

He is the largest dog in the litter and is still trying to grow into his ears and body.

He is adjusting well and is extremely well cared for and happy in his home.

Major  (aka Caerus)

Major is doing great.  He is learning every day.  He sits, comes, and is working on staying.

I have fond a pet store that has most of the dog foods on the list.  Major and I play fetch, go for walks, and travel in the car.  He is very good in the car.

Thank you for selling Major to me.  He is a great dog already and every day he gets better.

I'm sending you a couple of pictures. I will keep in touch.

Hey Lori

(Taken from a phone call…..)

From Linda:

Cassandra, a/k/a, Esa is everything we hoped she would be and is everything you described her to be!    She is supersmart and makes me want to take obedience to the next level.  After 2 days, she knows sit,  and is peeing on command.   She make the drive home exceptionally well and was great in the crate.  My husband and I are elated to have her as part of our family.  She and our dog, Trika are bonding exceptionally well, as they even share a crate.  I will stay in touch and I am glad we have become close.
