Lv1 agility

This is an introduction to agility.  It is a really fun class for you and your dog to learn basic obstacles, gaining confidence, and handling techniques to better communicate with your dog.  Level 1 introduces your dog to some of  the following

TABLE
TIRE
TUNNELS
JUMPS
BARRELS
HOOPS
DOG WALK
A FRAME

Prerequisite:  Dog must have had a Level 1 Obedience class or be able to demonstrate a fairly reliable come and sit/stay. and be able to crate for short periods of time

​​​

All classes meet once a week for 6 weeks.

Class sessions are 1 hour.

Lv2 agility

Level 1 must be completed where the dog is comfortable with obstacles.  In this level we will introduce short sequences, understanding and learning how to perform basic crosses and begin to work contacts and the importance of contacts. â€‹

Prerequisite:  Dog must have had a Level 1 Obedience class or be able to demonstrate a fairly reliable come and sit/stay. and be able to crate for short periods of time

All classes meet once a week for 6 weeks.

Class sessions are 1 hour.

Lv3 agility

This class focuses on competition level agility but can also be taken as an intense fun agility course to better communicate with your dog on the field.  , , , , walking a course for competition. Level 3 hones: 

 

Proofing start lines
discrimination obstacles
distance handling
advanced weave pole entrances

We also cover how to walk a course for competition, determining what type of handling works best for your dog on a course, and of course team spirit!

All classes meet once a week for 6 weeks. Class sessions are 1 hour.

LV4 Agility

​

Preparing for Competition and proofing courses, sharing course maps, offering seminars and workshop and working with guest trainers. 

Acquiring distance handling skills and proofing traps. 

 

This course prepares you for competition in AKC, NADAC, and CPE
