K9 Trainer / Puppy
Manager: Play STay Train Program

Nicole’s passion for dogs began at a young age. Throughout high school and college, she worked as a dog walker, pet sitter, and at local animal shelters.

She adopted her first dog, Dunkin after graduating Rutgers with a BS in Environmental Science. Nicole enrolled Dunkin in puppy classes and continued his training through Basic Obedience 4 where Dunkin achieved his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification.  Inspired by Dunkin’s advancements, Nicole immersed herself in the world of dog training.

When Dunkin was seven, he suffered an injury that required double CCL surgery. The recovery was intense. Nicole educated herself on rehabilitation and physical therapy exercises to strengthen his hind quarters. Her dedication to Dunkin’s healing process and exercise regime was rewarded with 8 more active years of running and playing with Dunkin.

Nicole has run her own pet-sitting business, worked at reputable dog training facilities and most recently was Assistant Manager at a local grooming salon. She enjoys being hands-on with all of our canine friends, whether it’s distracting wiggly puppies, calming nervous pooches or helping dogs work through uncomfortable situations.

Nicole currently has two dogs, Bruno, a yellow lab/shepherd mix, and Maeby, a border collie/golden mix. Bruno and Maeby have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen certifications and AKC Pet Therapy certifications. Maeby and Nicole are, also, a Soothing Paws team at Morristown Memorial Hospital, where they visit patients, staff and waiting rooms. When they are not volunteering with pet therapy, Bruno and Maeby enjoy participating in Fast Cat, Dock Diving, Agility and continuing their training at Puppy Wuppy.

Nicole is thrilled to be a part of the Puppy Wuppy team and looks forward to educating and working with pet parents to help build a better relationship between them and their dogs.
