dock diving

what is dock divinG

Dock jumping also known as dock diving is a dog sport in which dogs compete in jumping for distance or height from a dock into a body of water. There are dock jumping events all across the United States. Not interested in competing? You don't need to compete to enjoy dock diving with your canine companion. Come check out our facility and have a fun day with your dog.

Dock Diving Fun

Swimming is a great way to endurance train, condition, rehabilitate, or interactivelyplay and exercise your dog.

Dock diving builds confidence and strength and the
dogs have tons of fun doing it!

Practice pools can be  40 feet long by 12 feet wide by 48 inches deep. It is filtered through a salt

system.

Docks by regulation are 40 feet long.  Docks are used to get your dogs to stride for the best take off into the pool.  You can work your release, toss, or speed on take off.  There is always an easy access for the dog to exit the pool.

Dogs/Puppies that are new to swimming are gently assisted with trainers to learn how to swim, stay afloat, and tread water methodically.

Once staff is comfortable that your dog is a confident swimmer, you may schedule owner supervised swims without the staff at a reduced fee.

Typically there are K9  Splash Dates, as well as 30 minute and 60 minute intervals for people who use dock diving pools.

We have relationships with local practice pools as well as competition pools in the area.  Contact us and we can help you find the right pool and venue for your dog in this new  dog sport as a hobby
